Terms of Service
Last updated October 15, 2026
These terms govern your use of Mailboxhound (https://mailboxhound.com), a service operated by Quill Hound (“we”, “us”). By using Mailboxhound you agree to them.
The service
Mailboxhound lets you connect email accounts you own or are authorised to use (Google and Microsoft) and read, search, organise and send mail from them in one place. Access is currently by invitation.
Your account and connected mailboxes
- Keep your login credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account.
- Only connect mailboxes you own or have permission to access.
- Actions you take in Mailboxhound (sending, archiving, deleting) are carried out in your real Gmail or Outlook account, exactly as if you had done them there.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Mailboxhound to:
- send spam, unsolicited bulk email, or phishing;
- break the law or infringe anyone’s rights;
- violate Google’s or Microsoft’s terms for your accounts;
- attempt to access other users’ data, or to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service.
Your data
Your email remains yours. Our Privacy Policy explains what we access, store and delete. You can disconnect any account at any time.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Mailboxhound available and accurate but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Your mail is always still available directly in Gmail or Outlook. We may change or discontinue features, and we may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept it.
Termination
You may stop using Mailboxhound at any time. We may suspend access for violation of these terms. On termination we delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Mailboxhound is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Quill Hound is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data or messages, arising from your use of the service.
